　　UK - A major consultation is being launched on the future of the Pig Industry Professional Register (PIPR).It was set up in 2007 and since then there has been a steady growth in membership but it was decided to take a step back and examine the whole of PIPR closely.This aimed to look at the functionality and day-to-day running of PIPR together with the value it actually offers members.The review is being organised by Sam Bowsher, AHDB skills development coordinator, who said: "Once we had talked to a number of people in the industry, a review meeting was held."
